Model 100-CV - Solenoid-Operated Control Valves

Product Brand: Target Rock

Responds to standard plant control signals, throttling flow to meet exact plant requirements.

Target Rock is unique in the world in the technology of providing true modulating flow control for water, steam, and gas from a solenoid operated valve. The system consists of a pilot-operated solenoid valve, an LVDT for position indication, and a proprietary electronic positioner to create a closed feedback loop that responds to standard plant control signals to throttle flow to meet exact plant requirements.

This technology is particularly well suited for emergency applications where a dependable and/or safety-grade pneumatic supply (required for traditional air-operated control valves) can not be provided or is too expensive to install and maintain.

General Specifications:

Applications Water, steam, gas
Ratings Pressures to 2500 psi (17 MPa)
Operating Mode Fail-open, Fail-closed
Voltage 48 VDC to 220 VAC
Quality Class IEEE 323, IEEE 344, ASME III, ASME QME-1
Principles of Operation

Unique technology allowing for the fastest response

Target Rock Modulating SOVs eliminate the need for pneumatic systems. In addition, this unique technology has all moving parts inside the static pressure boundary with no stem, packing, or bellows seal. This eliminates friction, allowing the valve to respond quickly to flow demand, and hermetically seals the process fluid to eliminate leakage paths to atmosphere.
