For nearly 50 years Solent & Pratt has been at the forefront of the design, development and manufacture of high quality butterfly valves for engineering projects around the world. An absolute commitment to outstanding quality and reliability is the key of its continued success.

Especially suited for corrosive and severe environments, all valves are developed with specialized super duplex and titanium surfaces and can be used on fire main water, cooling water and sour gas application where there are high levels of hydrogen sulphide, which require the use of specialized construction to prevent stress cracking.

Because of their specialized metal seating and lack of rubber parts, Solent & Pratt Triple Offset valves are ideal for high pressure and temperature applications where conventional valves would fail. Their light alloy surfaces also provide the benefit of low-cost installation and lighter weight, which benefits offshore installations where weight saving is of a premium.

State-of-the-Art Concept and Design

Product design includes “ Double and “Triple Offset” with field removable zero leakage seating, available in metal to metal, resilient and PTFE with BS 6755: Part 2 and API 6FA: API 607 4th edition. All models can be fitted with actuators and a TOSV-Twin Seal, double disc seal and drain is also available in the product scope.

Manufacturing and Assembly

Standard scope of the product encompasses sizes from 2” (50mm) through 84” (2200mm) with flange ratings from ANSI 150# class through ANSI 2500# class with larger sizes manufactured on a bespoke basis.
